GRAND AUDITORIUM BODY
With dimensions of 117mm(4 5/8") body depth, upper bout width at 292mm(11 1/2") and lower bout width at 405mm(16"), the Grand Regal’s body size is perfectly in between the large Dreadnought and the more intimate Grand Concert. This makes the Grand Regal ideal for both strumming/flatpicking and fingerstyle playing and suits the versatile acoustic player who prefers to have one guitar to cover a variety of sounds and playing styles.
SOLID ADIRONDACK SPRUCE TOP (MASTER GRADE)
For the Limited Edition models, only the highest grade woods (Master Grade) were used and Adirondack Spruce fits the bill with its strength and extreme dynamics and sensitivity. Even at full volume, you will still be able to hear smoothness in the tone without losing any definition.
SOLID FLAMED MAPLE BACK & SIDES
Flamed Maple is like a combination of the low-mids of mahogany, and the rich overtones of rosewood. This versatility makes Flamed Maple stand out for both fingerstyle playing or strumming as well as being a perfect match for the spruce top.
ZODIAC & CONSTELLATION INLAY
To highlight the starry night inlay work, black finish and the darkest Ebony were used with white and celadon porcelain material along with Mother of Pearl. The headstock features a Big Dipper inlay with the seven stars while the fingerboard expands on the theme with even more stars and the body’s soundhole rosette is adorned with a meticulous zodiac signs inlay that gives the instrument a truly out-of-this-world look.
L.R.BAGGS ANTHEM
Known for its natural sound, the L.R. Baggs system is elegantly simple with only Volume and Tone controls. The guitar’s solid top and back’s acoustic resonance is fully picked up by the preamp and conveyed in a totally transparent manner to an amplifier or the PA system.
