The compact Mesa/Boogie Walkabout Scout Bass Combo is about as versatile as an amplifier can be. Despite its immense bass tone, the Walkabout Scout is all supplied in one petite rig. The WalkAbout head boasts 300W in a 13-pound unit. A pure all-tube preamp provides the Scout's tone.
The Scout cabinet provides docking for the powerful WalkAbout head. In minutes, with only a screw driver, you can convert the Walkabout from a head and cab rig to an awesome reduced-weight combo.
Mesa Boogie Scout speaker cabs boast a unique down-firing passive radiator. This low-end down-force amplifies the cabinet volume to produce shocking sonic hugeness. And to keep it lightweight, Mesa Boogie uses a neodymium magnet in the 15" Scout driver.
